NAIA Canadian Food Exporters Trade Mission 2017

Dear Canadian Food Exporters:

Since its inception, North America Investment Association (NAIA) has upheld its mandate of promoting two-way investment and trade activities between North America and Asia, and has organized a number of trade missions to China, Hong Kong and Macau. As one of its continuous efforts, NAIA is currently working in partnership with Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to organize NAIA Canadian Food Exporters Trade Mission 2017 in August 2017 (The HKTDC has provided us a business proposal as attached).

This Trade Mission will:

  1. Showcase Canadian food products in the Canada Pavilion of the Trade Hall of HKTDC Food Expo 2017 (August 17-19, 2017). There were 20,717 trade buyers in 2016. It is a great opportunity for Canadian food exporters to attract these trade buyers from Hong Kong, Mainland China and Asian countries.

  2. Visit Guangzhou, Jiangmen and Dongguan of Guangdong Province of China after the trade show, and to meet local government officers and potential Chinese buyers. This will definitely create more opportunities for the delegates of this Trade Mission. The table below is a comparison of GDP, economic growth and population between Guangzhou, Dongguan, Jiangmen and the province of British Columbia. We believe that we can find more business opportunities through these trade information exchanges.
